I have always – like many people – been fascinated by clouds. Although Montana has the nickname of “Big Sky Country,” Colorado is no slouch when it comes to the variety and dramatic effect of its atmospheric gatherings. “Big Cloud Country?”

Most of these photos were taken in western Colorado, with a few coming from the front range. Some are sunsets, some are sunrises, some are simply clouds passing by.
